With so much competition I have to say the customer service at Fat Rosie's made our night. Our server Ivonne and the manager George were so attentive. My kids loved the steak burrito and I tried the sopes, very good. When my youngest shared she finished her summer school program George brought her a special dessert and said her future is very bright. I am a single mom and when people see your kids as you see them, it just made our night. Thank you!

We went here on a Tuesday around 5 pm and they actually have Taco Tuesday, you get free taco if you buy two and get a mango margarita for $8. We also ordered the bone marrow and chicharron with guac. Everything tasted delicious. Place is also super fun with whimsical decoration. Service for the most part is attentive. Love the free parking.

What a great place to go to! We went for our friends' going away lunch. Our server, Omar, was a joy! Yall better give this dude a raise, he was accommodating, great to talk to, and was helpful with our questions. The ambiance, of course, is similar to other Fat Rosie's locations. Latino decor everywhere but also this location is spaced out well. By the way, spacious parking so a great place to go to for that! The food was so good! I honestly, devoured my tacos. I wanted more of them! I wish it came with more. The sauce was so good I almost drank it all! And of course the rice was great too. Can't wait to come back! Appreciate yall!

We celebrated my father in laws birthday here and it was a lot of fun! They give you all sombreros and have a sparkler for a candle. The kids loved it, it's a relaxed environment so it's perfect for families. Good margaritas and good food. A fun time had by all.

In an area that does not have too many Mexican options, this is a welcome addition. Shrimps in shrimp cocktails were little tough and the meat in meat fishes ( pork tamale & carne asada tacos) we're little dry. However, all the dishes had good flavors nevertheless. Service was also great and attentive, which is hard to find these days with staff shortage. It was little over the top with a photographer walking around with sombreros and taking photos for postcards (one free and additional ones to sell). Quiet and intimate, this place is not. Nevertheless, looking forward to returning and trying their alcoholic beverages soon.

We've been to Fat Rosie's a few times now. The inside is very cute and the food has been pretty good each time. The drinks are alright depending on what you order, as little sweet for my liking.

I have not been to a place with more birthday celebrations than this Fat Rosie's location. The couple of times I've been here, there were birthday desserts with bright candle/firework and huge sombreros left and right. These festivities made the place joyous and fun. I made reservations through OpenTable and I highly suggest doing this. I've dined at one of the separated dining room, and it was LOUD. Not only was the room packed with customers but the music was extremely loud too. I found available seats at the bar on my second visit so I decided to dine there instead. It was not AS loud but I guess they really want to have that party vibe going on for the whole restaurant. The noise level was more tolerable dining at the bar area. For food, I've tried: POLLO AL CHIPOTLE- the chicken was cooked and seasoned really well and I also liked the chipotle sauce. For me, it would have been better and make the dish more Mexican if it came with rice rather than mashed potatoes. SHRIMP, MUSHROOMS, SHRIMP TACOS- they were all delicious. My favorite was the mushroom taco, it had so much flavor. QUESABIRRIA- the meat was very tender and flavorful STEAK FAJITA- I wasn't a big fan of the meat. It was just ok. The rice and beans were good though. Overall, the service was efficient and friendly (especially at the bar area). The place was clean and had a very lively vibe. I would definitely come back here. Oh and btw, the margaritas were amazing!

I've been to Fat Rosie's in Lincolnshire and was pleasantly surprised to find out they opened a location in Lincolnwood! Came for dinner and had a cantarito (one of the few places I know I can regularly get a good one). Also got the enchiladas with mole! Another favorite! Staff was super friendly and provided great service! They even do something a little special if they know you're celebrating something! Which was a lot of fun! The vibes in here are bright and colorful, definitely brightens up the dreary winter. Great place to celebrate something, or even just to unwind and kick back. Highly recommend! Plenty of parking in the garage of the building.

Fat Rosie's has a lot of hype, and I was glad to have the chance to go. I went for a company lunch with my team, and it was a really good time. The servers were super friendly, and the place had awesome ambiance. It was really decked out with lots of art and decorations. I got the chicken tamal, salmon taco, taco al pastor, and a regular margarita. Everything was good, and I really enjoyed my meal. It is definitely on the pricier end compared to your typical mexican food, but they make everything look fancy and it's a nice spot so I think it's worth an occasional visit. I want to come back and try their happy hour some time, it seemed really nice. Overall, it was a good spot, 4 stars!

Went to Fat Rosie's a few times. Had a wonderful experience every time. The drink are great and their steak tacos ...... out of this world! Also, ordered the sopes surtidos as appetizers. These can easily be the main course , delicious and great for sharing. Quite a conversation starter. It gets quite busy in the evenings and weekends but never had to wait more than 5 min for a table. Great atmosphere and the decor is gorgeous. A must if you like Mexican food.
